ChatGPT, the modern miracle of a software, has been the pinnacle of artificial intelligence for multiple years. From graduating colleges, to getting medical licenses, ChatGPT, the product of their proud owner company- OpenAI, seems to be possible to do anything. Best part- it is mostly free to use it. Writing around one million student papers every single day, it has made many industries and even entire academic fields completely irrelevant.

In 2025 however, it got a huge competitor- Deepseek. Chinese have entered the AI race with a strong contender, one that has brought down 1 trillion dollars in US tech sector market cap- in a single day! Since the AI race is the biggest question of this decade, US had to respond, and had to respond fast.

The new Trump administration has entered the global politics guns blazing, bringing “America First” policy to its practical fruition. OpenAI is chosen to lead the AI rise of US, with many gigantic companies helping out. Thus, the new company is born, the Stargate Project company. It consists of OpenAI, Oracle, Microsoft, Arm holdings and Nvidia joint efforts, and funding of 500 billion dollars in the first 5 years. It is said to be the biggest tech project in history, one that would dwarf all other efforts in the AI race.
